Oh no, a Dell?

My wife is quite techy. Actually she enlightened me in the world of computers as newlyweds. I went the way of the Mac because of my field of work which in that era was audio editing. But my wife stayed as a “PC” user. All I can say is that whenever I have acquired a new computer it has been to upgrade and not to replace due to malfunction. On the other hand my computer savvy better half has found herself frustrated by the limitations of Sony and now Dell. I wish her software could be used seamlessly on a Mac.

Hi, Albert
Hope your doing well. There is now software for Macs that will allow Windows apps to run natively. One is Bootcamp, another is called Parallels, and a third is VM Fusion (I think). Don’t know if that might be helpful.
Blessings,
Chris

Good to hear from you- Those virtual PC software aids don’t help in the proper performance of the software itself- as opposed to a native function- only when they make Mac versions… ie- entourage… I’ve used them…
So how is the fam?

How it going Albert! My wife now uses PC’s at her job and being a long time Mac user she can’t help but complain for the lack of intuitiveness of the Windows interface. I’m also learning Autocad and running it through my mac using the VM Fusion—which is really cool btw—and I have to agree with her. The interface is archaic at best. Luckily Autocad works as it should…
